Does anyone have one of these Safes?

Purchased the taller one this week since it went on sale this Wednesday...was to be delivered yesterday but having problems hooking up with the deliver company...next scheduled day will be next Wednesday...hopefully it will fit my needs.

Oldest son picked one of the shorter ones about 2 months ago when they were on sale. Seems to be ok. We have it bolted to the floor in my shop next to one of mine. Running one of the "Goldenrod"s in it seems to keep the moisture at bay. It is like most safes and is a little unfriendly to large scopes and ARs with acc., but seems like it will be ok. Just need to figure best utilization of space.

On my second one. Cannon replaced the first one under warranty after it was destroyed in the Labor Day fire last year.

NICE! We paid a bit more for a 30 gun size & it's a nice safe, but...

My safe will MAYBE hold 30 long guns if I take ALL the shelving out, I don't have too many 91/30 MoNags, no scopes and I don't mind guns banging against each other. 13 fit comfortably with all the shelving installed but I still store the rifles in gun socks.

What sold us on our Cannon was

-We ordered it from our LGS

-American made, right up the freeway from us, actually. ;)

-Fire rating. A full hour.

-Lifetime warranty

i have the 10 year warranty on the key pad on my winchester safe...love it

that awesome but if it dosn't work when you need it you've locked your self out and payed for it to happen! get a good 4 number spin dial with key and it will work every time, even if an EMP bomb or solar flair goes off...

Thanks for the replies. I saw both Cannon's today including this one. I'm just looking for more space w/ shelves from top to bottom. :) The folloing will do just that.

Here are some store photos of the Field and Stream safe. Not like my Browning but nice. My Browning Pro Steel was bought in 1992. They make safes differently now.

Shelves are no good. They waste too much space because they have to be far enough apart to reach into the back, and you can't see anything because it's dark back there. What you want is shallow drawers, like this: http://smith-wessonforum.com/s-w-re...you-keep-store-your-s-ws-2.html#post136251708 :)

But after a while a mechanical combination gets sloppy to open.......

My main safe is the Cannon 72H X 50W safe with electric lock. Had it about 12 years and love it. The 60 VS 72 makes a lot of pistol storage space. No problems and would take a lot to move it.
