Hi, just checking with all the sigma owners on here, does anyone know if there is more than 1 brand/make of the sigma rail mount adapter? I'm looking to add a light and/or laser to my sigma for home defense. The only adapter I can find is the laserlyte/lasermax adapters that add a pretty big gap between the rail and the accessory. I was wondering if anyone knows of a lower profile adapter that would keep the laser or light tighter to the frame? Or if any members have come up with their own adapter or set up for attaching accessories? I'd like to get the armalaser sr3 when I can but was hoping there was something I could use in the mean time for a laser I already own or to attach a light..i guess with a hd setup it wouldn't be that important for a tighter to the frame fit for a light but it would kind of suck carrying my sigma with a bulky attachment....any suggestions/solutions our many sigma owners have would be appreciated. I thought I saw a lower profile version of the rail adapter somewhere but now can't seem to find it. How about some cheaper lasers that are made to fit the sigma? Any feedback would be awesome, and pics would be great too! Thanks for looking.

So this was I question I have too. Mine is more of what fits the sigma WITHOUT needing the adapter? I see your link above does but.....if nothing really fits the adapter...whats the point!
You'd think with as many sigma's floating around there would be a number of mfg. that make something that fits the "standard" Sigma rail?
Or may im just plain WRONG........

I have always wondered the same myself. I, "TDR911" made the direct mount laser years ago understanding how many Sigma's that are out there. It has been a great seller for me. Laser only. I think that many of the higher priced light & laser companys do not feel that the Sigma crowd will spend high dollars for their systems.

Well I am wondering if this light will fit on the rail. I know worst case I would have to cut some screws to fit.

That is a std picitiny style rail on the light . It will not fit. The rail on the Sigma is completely different. To the average person they look very similar but they are not.
There are adapters available but it puts the light/laser units much lower on the pistol. Also making it harder to find holsters for the combo.
