I odered one yesterday and should have in three months
what your opinion and can that safety lock be removed

I don't own one. Yes, you can either deactivate the lock, or remove it all together. The information used to be stickied in the past. I imagine that you can ask for tips in the "smithing" section unless the subject can no longer be delved into for liability reasons.

Looks like an interesting gun. I used to have a standard 7 shot 686 that had the 6" barrel. I found that the full lug barrel already cut down on muzzle rise, but I imagine that the weighted barrel should work even better. You might want to ask in the modern revolver section.
 
Yes, I have one very similar to the one that you have pictured.

I can tell you that it is as smooth as glass for DA pull and there is little to no muzzle jump with standard 38 target rounds.

Mine currently has a Leupold Red-Dot tube sight mounted to the integral mounting slide and it really works well.

I also had S&W replace the stock fluted cylinder with a non fluted, just because I like that look!

The stocks are Hogue 'Big Butts'........if I were to buy them again, I would opt for the checkered stocks.
