Does this video concern anyone?

This video may be old news, but does it concern anyone? Pretty good comparison showing a possible failure with an M&P.

Let me be clear, I own neither an M&P nor a Glock. I find that this is a contrived test designed with a specific outcome in mind. Unsurprisingly he achieved his goal.

"Does this video concern anyone?" Nope. But let the hating begin. Only thing I learned from that video was why my G26 has a more audible reset than my M&P9.

This was simply posted out of curiosity... and from a design perspective. Interesting to see the compare and contrast.

I don't have a M&P but that doesn't look like a concern to me. Maybe if it were 2005 and this was a new gun but today there have been enough torture tests to prove that the M&P is a functional and reliable gun.

Wow, how stupid was that ... Glock owners sure do seem to like to get into pissing contest about why glocks are better than every thing else .

I'm speechless. Does he really think that it's possible to allow that much dirt to accumulate on the mag? Under the conditions necessary to cause that failure, any gun will malfunction with that much dirt in it. The dirt would not be confined to the mag.

The exact same could be said for the Glock. Dirt could accumulate under the "cruciform" and prevent it from dropping. This would prevent the Glock from firing.

Hmmm, should I respond to his vid? Nah, he's clearly a Glock fan boy and no amount of logic will fix that.

Nope.
I've seen Three Stooges movies also but they never stopped me from fixing a broken pipe.

Turns out both the Smith & Wesson and the Glock have additional design flaws. If you have your barrel plugged with dirt, the gun tends to fail to go into battery. And if it does go into battery, and you fire the gun, you may have a catastrophic kaboom failure.

Not good, people, not good.

hahahahaha, man I LOVE this forum, great information and entertaining videos. Life is good.

The quote from the movie Billy Madison works for the video:

"Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

The guy who made that video needs to go back under his rock and not try to play "gun designer" on You Tube.

Yes, every time I stick a potato on the end of a Glock it misfires while my S&W sends it downrange every time, all be it at sub-sonic speeds and the accuracy is wonderful, I get one nice ragged hole with the bullseye blown out!
