There are, of course, different variations. I have a DPMS Oracle and the left side of the lower has "LR-308" stamped on the mag well.
Mine has a 16.5(?) length barrel, the A2 style upper with forward assist and brush cover for the ejection port. A friend of mine bought one that lacks forward assist, the ejection bump and forward assist. He purchased his from Academy Sports for $625.00.
I mounted a Vortex Diamond Back 4 x 16 power scope with Leupold QRW rings on an ARMS riser and the height and eye relief are perfect. 2 deer and one coyote so far. This rifle loves the Sierra 165 grain BTHP with an appropriate load of IRM 4895 in Lake City match brass. The target shown was only at 100 yards and off of a bench.
The range has (had) a steel silhouette torso set up at 219 yards. Head shots, again off the bench, were 20 for 20. Torso shots from supported off hand (upright 4x4 post) were a walk in the park.
