What should I do?

Nothing appears broken. No sounds. The Meprolights shifted to the right all the way from the sight profile from the rear.

I am the second owner of the pistol.

The previous owner said take it to a smith nearby. I need the gun to operate now as this gun as it is my EDC.

Help much appreciated. Sip, might you have any advice?

Oh, I tried to register on the HK Pro forum, but I do not know the answers to their obscurely worded questions. (???).

By the way I realllly like this gun a lot. Fantastic ergonomics and size. I have been meaning to show some targets and give some range reports. I can say it shoots 50 180 grain Remington rounds straight through the 10 ring at 21' while ceaselessly rapid firing only to reload. Not one hiccup.

This was my fault I dropped it on terrazzo floor.

Thanks Gunslinger808,

I am going to do what you advised.

Whats the deal with the HK Pro forum's passcoded questions there like an MP7 is ____ or a P7M8 is ____?

Agree with above. I'm assuming the sight moved in the dovetail?

I have been known to stuff a bore sighter down the barrel and drift the sights one way or the other with a hammer and punch. (now we're not talking a 28oz framing hammer here). But without a doubt, someone with a sight tool is the way to go.

jlrhiner and Gunslinger808, should I be concerned if the gunsmith does not have a specific HK sighting tool for the P2000 or similar models like USP or P30?

No idea, I've been a member for 7 years.
My guess is "not something you lowly civillians need".
Kidding aside, I'd say they want the caliber, 4.6×30mm and 9mm respectively.

Naw, most quality sight pusher tools will work, and many high end tools have interchangeable heads to do the job.

LEM.

I have the same trigger results, Sip, and thanks for the reply.

I have shot some supposedly DA triggers on Glock from 2nd party companies like Glockworx (3 lbs triggers LULZ!). Those triggers are far too light. I have shot them at least 3 times without full intention.
For what its worth, the Glock sights, capacity, and modularity of magazines is genre defining. Though I do not like the odd double trigger of Glock. The standardized trigger is o.k in terms of lbs to pull. Be wary of anyone modding a trigger so light. And yeah I disdain Glock ergonomics like I dislike Ruger revolvers.

I study architecture. I challenge yall who enjoy Glocks or Rugers to look up Le Corbusier's Modular. He was a big guy by the way in terms of: modernist architecture, painting, philosophy, manufacturing, and even political influence now and then right or wrong. I enjoy his visual work. By the way, he was old, ~70 and dated some of the most popular international women at that time.

I cannot personally say the Glock is comparable regarding ergonomics or accuracy to the S&W M&P .40, XDM compact .40, or my excellent second hand HK P2000 .40.

I hated the .40 caliber due to my previous experiences with the Taurii BullS. I stand corrected. I now favor the caliber.

Hmm, that P30, XDm, or M&P... fullsize frames now...
might have gotten hooked on the Teutonic Knights ($,$$$.00)!

Thanks, dudes.
