I get a catalog from Duluth Trading from time to time. Never bought anything but the adds remind me of old Herters catalogs. Mostly work clothes - shirts, pants, jackets and some misc. stuff. Supposed to be heavy duty and cut for comfort.

Has anyone used thes products, and if so, with what results. Thanks for responses.

I have a organizer thingy for the truck and a couple of tool bags from them. Seem like a really heavy duty product and a good value. Ordered and received without issue.

I have several of their products and like them quite well.

Fire hose stuff is tough.

I use to order from them from time to time but stopped after I had a hard time dealing with their methods of calculating shipping rates. I order a lot of "stuff" on-line and deal with a lot of companies so I'm used to paying shipping, sometimes it's a little too much, but it's always in the realm of being fair, all things considered.

I was going to order something from Duluth Trading that was quite small & lightweight, but high priced, and since the shipping was based on item cost, rather than size and/or weight, they were going to charge me a shipping rate that was at least four or five times of what it would have actually cost them to ship, even if you figured in a hefty handing fee. Right around that time I had received an order of 2 or 3,000 rounds of .45 acp ammo where the shipping was less than what Duluth Trading was asking to ship something that weighed just a few ounces..........

Because of this I called & talked to them before placing that order and they explained that it all came out in the wash. My response (polite) was that from now on I'll take my baths elsewhere, and that's exactly what I've done ever since.
This was a little over a year ago, things might have changed since then.

Other than that I've always liked the products that I've ordered from them, so, if you're good on the shipping, I would have no qualms about recommending them to others. If you do order from them you might want to look at the "Japanese Carpenter Knife" that they offer. I gave away a number of these as Christmas Gifts a couple of years ago and, to this day, still get good comments from those who received them. So much so that I wish I would have snagged one for myself.

I have ordered quite a few times from them and most of the time shipping was reasonable. A couple times it was free. I purchased their long tail work tee's and have been wearing them for 2 years now daily at work and they are now starting to show some signs of wear but I should get another year out of them. I ordered one of their winter work coats made of firehose material and man is it ever comfortable and tough. The more times it gets washed the more comfortable it gets.

I wa gonna order some cargo pants from 'em but when they told me shipping to Japan would cost more than the pants I pulled out.

They do look to be high quality stuff tho.

A++ Lots of stuff....all the men in my family get Duluth stuff from my wife for Christmas.....good gear...buy with confidence...customer service is great too for returns, etc...

I use their lightweight work-pants (can't remember the name). They fit well, but the finish/color on the material doesn't last long. They have deep front pockets which works well to hold my LCP, and side pockets which I use for tools or a cellphone. I really like the 'crotch gusset' as it makes crouching easier without all the usual pants hitching up or stretching

I used to like their long-tail pocket t-shirts but over the last couple of years they have changed the material. It still says, '100% cotton' on them but they seem to have some sort of coating on them that prohibits any breathing of the material at all. Consequently they are an instant sweat producer. I returned the last ones I ordered because as a workshirt they were completely unacceptable.

I also user their cheater safety glasses which work excellent. They are safety glasses with little reader panes in the lower inside of the lenses.

Take a look at the items in their catalog and you will notice almost 100% 'imported', if that makes any difference to you.

I think they sell good stuff and I own some of it. But the prices are high. I will wait for a sale if I am buying from Duluth. Usually I can find the equivalent locally at a better price.

I've got a few of their T-shirts. I like the long length, but the cut is too slim and the fabric too clingy to be very effective at covering up a gun, but they wear well, come in attractive colors, and the long sleeve version is great for sunblocking and for cooler temps. No quibbling about returns. Shipping is pricey.

I bought some polo shirts w/pockets a couple of years ago, they are a notch above the rest of the polo shirts I wear, and they were sized very nicely, I can still wear some, even though I have grown a bit too much.
I bought a jacket this year, it is everything I wanted- plenty warm and more pockets than I hope to ever need. I have purchased a couple of other things from them, a block of Alum (stops shaving cuts from bleeding) which actually did work, until I quit using that old razor...
And a toy for my brother's kids, which they at least pretended to like??

Their catalog advertising is excellent. Good enough to get me to purchase from them. I have tried cargo pants......not cut the way I am built, therefore not satisfactory. Work pants.....same story. Vest, just wasn't cut to fit a human body like mine. Cold weather coat, the pockets were so small I couldn't get my 'medium' sized hands into them. I gave up and will never order anything from them again. .... Big Cholla

Same here. I really love their firehose stuff. I have several pairs of their khaki pants and they are more comfortable and more durable than a pair of Levi jeans.

I use one of their 'gets better with age' leather belts as my primary concealed carry belt, and the firehose sports jacket is great for casual wear.

I ordered a few things years ago. The products were good enough, shipping cost was annoying, and it took YEARS to work off of their mailing list.

I've gone to a system of buying only FTF now and that too seems to work fine.
