Duty/Carry loads for the M&P?

Hi guys.

What are your loads for the M&P full size and Compacts in 9mm or 357
SIG?

I have a small assortment, just waiting on better weather to go shooting.

I'd also be interested in hearing what .45 loads you are using,
as a 45 Compact is on my list to buy in 2012.

This probably isn't what you want to hear but as you know every gun is different so what's good for me might no be good for you. You will need to buy a few different loads you think will work well and try them for function and accuracy. That's really the only way to tell.

My son's M&P9 works well with 147gr Federal HS ammo.

Any quality JHP by a major manufacturer that feeds reliably and is acceptably accurate in your pistol/hands.

I've got preferences, but the above advice works. Where you put the bullet is far more important than brand, weight, type or velocity.
