I ordered a $175 item . I looked at it when it arrived and was not what I was needing. Never opened it.

Called Optics Planet to return the item. They said Dvor only gives you a store credit. FART- really bummed out....dan

They sent me the wrong scope caps after I called and was assured they were sending the correct items with a Leupold scope. I was charged a $20.00 restocking fee for the returned items. They also charged my credit card for two red dot sights and then did not ship for over four months. I called and emailed and was assured the items were about to ship the next day. I was dumb enough to let Optics Planet burn me twice but never again.

Planet Optics has been developing a very bad reputation for saying things are "in stock" when placing orders and then not shipping because the needed item is out of stock. If they are charging you a restocking fee for returning an item which is incorrect after you called and were told it was correct, contest the charge with your credit card company. It needs to be done in writing, usually within 60 days of the date the charge was posted to your account. You'll get your money back. Charge back rights are a very good reason to use a charge card along with extended warranties, etc.. Charge cards are excellent tools if used correctly.

You definitely need to contest the charges with your credit card co. And thanks for the heads up. I purchase a few pieces of glass from time to time and have them in my favorites. Out they go...
