Early 4506

Got a line on an early hooked trigger guard 4506 from a friend of mine, he bought it new in the early 90's and it's been a range gun for him. He's got the box/paperwork etc. and a couple spare mags, he takes awesome care of his his gear so I know it's in fantastic shape, he's asking $445 is that good? Bad? Seems like a real good price to me for a solid 45. I had a 1987 mfg 645 a couple of years ago that I've regretted lettting go of since and thought this would be a fine replacement. Any thoughts?
