Another (4th one in a row) rainy, snowy weekend
Haven’t gotten anything new in a while and patiently waiting on the new dash 9 mountain guns!
Thought I dig out some older stuff and have a thread on the early sixguns

First up is nib 8 3/8” no dash

Next up it’s pictured with a 4” no dash and a 4” transitional pinned but non recessed gun

Next up are my current dash one’s
A nib 6” with the red lettered C stamped on the box and my old 4” dash one. This is my favorite and first 629, I’ve had it since the mid-late 80’s and shot it enough to have had to send it back for a rebuild twice

Next are my dash Two’s
A nib 8 3/8” that came with the original ammo
And a modified mountain revolver

I’m thinking pre endurance guns here on my end but definitely not limited to those
Please post up yours with comments if you’re inclined
Thanks for letting me share
chris

just saw your post, those are some great early 629's. Smith 44's are my favorites.

I am up here in Maine as well, and agree, it has been a cold/damp spring so far. Havent even made it to the range yet. hopefully soon though.

Nice!
Love hearing from other Mainers
I would really enjoy some pics of your 44’s
Blued, nickel or stainless, doesn’t matter to me :D
