Hi guys, so I bought a engraved Dust cover from Ndz performance and want to Install on my 15T, what would be the easiest way of going about this? I'm a newbie to this gun, and there looks like a tiny E-clip on the rod that needs to be removed, any one with any advise would be great!! Thanks, Mike!!:o

I would assume you would either use a small screw driver are a small tipped needle nose pliers and pop the C clip off. Then pulling the rod out, watching that the spring does not fly out.

im going to copy from a post i made in someone elses thread a while ago

a business card... very small tweezer OR small needle nose pliers. and a small but effective flat head screwdriver, a large white towel and a some patience... pop the little c clip off the EPC rod off with the flat head... keep track of it... its way too fricken small and ha sa very good range when it gets let loose.. laying a white towel under your gun will help you locate this little rascal if it does get away from ya. cover it with your hand or the towel when popping , just to knock it down

once that is off.... place a business card or piece of card stock onto the gun behind the ejection port cover and start to slide the rod out...placing the business car here will prevent the rod from scratching your gun especially since your FA is kinda in the way...the rod will pull out below the FA... the rod will fight ya a little both on the way in and out but i assure you it'll go just gotta finesse it a little... once this is out.. replace the dust cover with your custom one, line up the spring and slide the rod back in and finagle it till its all the way in....
once the rod is back in... replace the clip(its gonna be a punk to get that little clip back in its groove)... a little bit of business card under here will help incase the needle nose's slip to prevent scratching...

than VOILA
