Ebay Spoof Email.

Got an email yesterday to an email address that I use for all junk sites.It immediately raised an alarm being that it was not to my ebay email.

MY Ebay messages showed no message.

The email stated that since I had not used my ebay account in a very long time it would be closed shortly unless I logged in and changed my password to the one they provided

I login and use my ebay account very often.

After speaking with ebay's customer service I forwarded the email to spoof@ebay dot com

My wife got a spoof/phishing email claiming to be from ebay, too. The scam was a $10 discount on the next purchase. She forwarded it to ebay and they confirmed that eBay will never send an unsolicited email to its customers. All communications from ebay are in its internal messaging system.
