Got up a little while ago and we have about 8" of very heavy snow. The pine trees are way bent over and the TV is saying none stop that a large part of our area is going to have power failures.

We had one small couple minutes interruption but I expect some major ones. I have a stand by generator but if utility power goes out we loose internet and TV most times!

If the weather guessers are right we are in the 20'' possibly more area. They say this slow moving storm could hang around into Wednesday!

I wail wait a little longer and do a 1/2 plow. Its much easier to push 10'' twice than 20'' Ah, life in the mountains!

2 weeks ago we got over a foot. Last week they predicated a "dusting", and we got close to a foot. This week they are calling for 9 inches, and this morning it was -7 degrees f.

I'm tired of it, and most snow have seen since moving to Wi in 92.

600" here this season and we're ready for a break. A 53 year old snowfall record might be broken with what's in our forcast.

You win!

I'm in the Northeast as well. Western NY. Yesterday's 6:00 news predicted a disaster. We got a trace this morning and it all melted by noon.
