El Paso Saddlery Single Stack .45 mag carrier for Shield mags

I posted this in another forum and I thought I would pass this along. My latest box of goodies came from Midway yesterday, an in it was a .45 mag carrier for the 7-round XDS mag that accompanied it.

To my surprise, the mag carrier also worked for the 9mm shield mags - the shied mag was a bit snug, but still easy to extract. So I ordered another one for my Shield (I would not use one for both the .45 and the Shield, as the Shield mag is a "stack and a half" and will likely cause the carrier to stretch so that the .45 mag may lose its snug fit.)

It's currently out of stock but the black one is available. I thought I would pass this along, as finding a mag carrier for the shield is not easy.

Don't understand. The Shield is a 9mm single stack. Is its mag thicker than the single stack .45 mag for your XDs?

The shield mag is more of a stack and a half, were the xds 45 is a true single stack.

The shield mag is not a true single stack 9mm - if you look at it, you will see it flares out. But it is not a true double stack either.....
