I gave a K-22 revolver (not the particular one pictured) to my son last year. He thoroughly enjoys it and is quite a marksman. He is out on his own now so the time was right. His birthday is coming up and a few months ago I jumped on El Paso Saddlery's Presidents Day sale. It arrived recently.

It is a #2 Thumb break with fish scale stamping. Note the scalloped edges near the stitching. Nice touch. The snap escutcheon that goes near the gun's surface is covered with the high quality lining so no worries about scratching the finish. The gun goes in and out smoothly, yet is held snugly. Neutral cant. My preference for trail guns. I'm betting Jr will like it. He has always been about high quality things, and EPS is the best.
