This morning I finished the final shift of the greatest part time job ever, that I worked at for 27 years.

Those of you who have ever worked EMS, as a career, know that most of us work multiple jobs to make ends meet, due to the poor wages.

This job, however, involved co-workers and friends, that became more like family, then just co-workers, so I thought I'd share a couple of pictures from the breakfast/party they threw for me, to celebrate my time there.

Some the greatest people a simple guy could ever have pleasure, and honor, to work with!

Congratulations! A full night's sleep now? What's that?
Looking at your pictures, I see my old crew.
I guess it's a pretty universal look.
You're gonna see a fire engine or ambulance or hear sirens and think your radio batteries died.." I didn't hear that tone out!"....oh, yeah, I don't have a radio or pager anymore.

Congrats! In my ~30 years in LE, we enjoyed a great partnership with our local EMS people, all of who were really good folks.
As some folks used to tell me - 'I couldn't do what you do'. That'd be me and EMS. Thanks for your service.

Congrats and thanks for your service.

My career (LEO / EMS) came to and all too soon but still look back with no regrets. Enjoy the next chapter.
