Enfield No. 2 Mk 1* Revolver

My Enfield revolver is .38-200 caliber. I am unaware of Enfields in .455, but it's out of my area of knowledge.

Don't know if the OP is looking to buy this gun, but I read that if the factory crest has been removed from the right side of the frame, it is only considered a parade/ceremonial gun and should not be fired.

I only read the above after purchasing such an Enfield from a private seller. Although very annoyed, he took it back and refunded my $. He phoned me later that he had safely fired it. An unpleasant experience, all around.

In the 1920's, Enfield made direct coptes of Webley MK VI .455's, but they weren't designated as No. 2.

Someone is confused.

There is a Enfield made revolver in .455 wich resembles the Webley MK VI. It is manufacture of a later date. Somewhere in the 1927. I have to look it up. But it is really Enfield made
