I jusy finished reading his book "Lone Survivor" for the second time. This book begins with his account of what it takes to become a US Navy Seal, then documents his account of his Seal Team's demise (except for him) in the Afgan Mountains. Most people, if told this story would say what those guys went through was not physically possible. I don't doubt it for a minute. The bravery and courage it took to make the decision that they knew would probably cause a lot of problems for them (letting some shepards walk), was the biggest decision of his life. His account is a look into the soul of a truely great human being. The account of his family's & friends vigil in Texas, provides the reinforcement for his character. Makes me wish I was a Texan. Read the book and you will know what I mean!
I usually don't like books that I know the ending. This book needs to be read by every citizen of the US.
