Well, when I worked in the oilfield years ago, I guess you could say that I "played" the shovel but it didn't sound like that. I've also broken the neck (aka; handle) on a few.

I haven't heard of that kind of a shovel.
I'm in the developmental stages of a shovel for government road workers. It stands up without anyone leaning on it. Ought to save the tax payers billion$.
