Examining the .38/44 Heavy Duty (Model 20) revolver...

Pulled the sideplate off the 1952 HD and it was like new inside... No turn marks on the frame or any of the moving parts...

Polished up the rebound slide, put in a 14# trigger return spring and cleaned out the old oil and relubed....smooth....

Put on a T-Grip and should be good to go...

HE...you may be right, but how do you shoot something a bunch and have no wear marks on the hammer or trigger.... I must be missing something... Also the ejector rod was still almost totally blue.... Every Smith that I own that has at minimum a couple hundred rounds through it has a lot of finish wear on the ejector rod...
