Registered Magnum 2590 was displayed as part of the S&WHF/S&WCA display in Tulsa in April along with its three documents that were found during a search of the digitized and indexed records for the period, 1935-1941. These documents are shown below along with what a "typical" S&WHF letter might look like. The cost of the letter and documents for a member of the S&WHF is only $60 and think how much they will add to your next display.

Bill, What's the turn around time now on getting a SWHF letter? I sent a couple requests several weeks ago to Sheryl, but have heard nothing as yet? Thanks, Ed.

What price do they charge and turn around time? Also, I have a S&W 1076 that is traced to the FBI academy. I was looking into obtaining a letter from S&W's Roy Jinks. Does it make any difference if I went to S&W or SWHF?

Ed, we are still getting processes and procedures down. I hope once everything is up and working that turn around will be a couple weeks. Thanks for the inquiries--I hope we find some goodies for you!!

Doc & Sheryl.
Allow me to ask the first "stupid question".
Are all of the K 22/40 records available?
I just bought sn 682924, shipped April 1940.
The dealer sent for a factory letter on the revolver, but needed cash before he got the letter. So now I own it and will be sending for any information you have on it, once I get the letter.

If I may ask another question, do the records also cover Club Guns from this period?

Interesting to read that the gun was sighted in at 200 yards!

For this distance and even 100 yards below I normally use a rifle.

Are there some more informations about the original buyer?

I did a search of Daniel Rakowski and did not find anything. Also, from the condition of the .357, he didn't shoot if much, if at all.

Holt Street is now Greenview Ave., Chicago.
I enjoy looking up these old addresses on Google Earth and looking at the houses.
