Exhibiton: Firearm manufacture

Does somebody know, if there´s any exhibition/exposition in the USA were firearm manufactures represent themselves?

As well, I would like to know if a Gun Show like the ones which are listed below, is like an exhibition where are the manufactures are represented?

The next SHOT Show will be in January of 2013, they have one each year at the same time each year. It is the "trade" show and the one at which most of the manufacturers will attend.
Most of the shows on the Gun Show List are local and manufacturers do no exhibit there.

The NRA annual meeting is also a good place to see most of the gun makers displays. It will be in Houston May 2-5, 2013.

The Shot Show is not "open to the public" - you need someone in the business to get you in. The NRA however, is open to the public.

Care to share your objective? Is it just to get hands on while here on travel?

Even as a German, you sound painfully ill informed regarding the industry, yet seem to have an almost immediate need to contact 'the manufacturers'. For what purpose? What need does an apparent newbie have that gun shows can't fill?

Sorry, I´ve never ever had a firearm in my hands and I´m totally new in this business. It´s not the fact that I decline weapons, but in Germany is not that easy. I´m pretty sure I´ll be really fascinated by using fire arms.

I want to get some information from the manufactures about their production technology - CNC cutting, MIM, investment casting et cetera. It would be much more easier to meet anybody from the company on an exhibition, than annoy them with phone calls and e-mails. actually I´m in Mexico right now for a couple of time and not in Germany anymore. Would be not that expensive for me to go there, but as I see I´ll have to call them and write e-mails to them.

Along with the SHOT show, and the NRA convention, there's also the SAR show that's in Phoenix every December.
SAR (small arm review) is geared more to the Class 3 type stuff and is part of one of our Crossroads gun show.
