Extended magazines for M&P 40c

I'm looking for( if they exist) an extended magazine option for my M&P40c
Does anybody know if M&P 40 mags would fit, or if they are available by an aftermarket manufacturer?

Yes, a 15 round M&P 40 full size magazine will work just fine on a M&P 40c.

I would suggest sticking to the S&W brand Magazines. I buy used 10 round and 15 round magazines for around $20. Some of my local gun shops have used ones available. New ones are $35-$45 around here.

They make a mag base that should prevent mag issues when you load the gun.

I own an M&P full size 40 & a 40C. I often carry the compact with a 15 round mag equipped with an XGrip. Since I had a total of 4 of them when I started I still picked up a couple more from Ebay. I can't remember the cost but I thought it was reasonable. Two of them are dedicated for the compact. I also ordered a few XGrips while I was at it & an extra UpLula loader.

I preload all my mags with practice ammo before I leave for the range except the one I'm carrying in the gun on my hip. That one has SD ammo in it.

Carry my 40c with a 10 round magazine and a 15 round with the X-Grip on it on my off side as a spare .. think I have 6 of the 15 rounder's .. I have stuck with S&W magazines .. you can find them used for 20-25 dollars ..
