Ez slow slide

My son's new EZ9 (200 rnds) is experiencing a slide that returns to battery, very slowly on occasion. Originally 2 particular mags resulted in FF. Corrected that issue by removing burrs on the plastic followers and polishing the feed ramp. Now the slide seems to return so slowly that it can be seen, although the FFs have lessoned What to do next?

Slippery lube on the slide friction surfaces. I like TW25B for that purpose.

Besides what's above, make sure the grip on the handgun is firm.

Make sure it is clean and then properly lubricated per the S&W manual that came with the pistol. Use a proper lubricant, not WD-40 or similar, but a lubricant designed for firearms and in the amount specified by S&W.
