Factory service stamping ??

I have a 27-2 that is stamped 91188 on the left lower forward grip frame, am I correct in concluding a factory service on that date ?

Sounds like an assembly number. Is the same number stamped on the yoke?

Post a picture, Bob. However, I think it is probably an assembly number. Particularly if it is positioned horizontally on the frame.

Just checked it is in both places, and not vertical on the frame. You guys are fast.
