I have a perfect 5" 27-2 shot less than 200 times and a wood presentation box and would like to sell locally and need advice on fair price to sell.

Also have a 4" 629 mountain gun in excellent condition, fair pricing?

more photos coming hopefully tomorrow with good sunlight

Those are both desirable guns. Would you be able the share the "dash number" next to the model number found stamped on the frame under the cylinder's crane? Pictures would help too if you have the time.

That 27 has a standard trigger/hammer and I don't think it would have come in a presentation case. I could be wrong. Can you give an idea of the serial number (ie: N 123XXX)? Thanks.

I'm guessing $1500-$1800 for the 27-2 and all accessories, if its in the condition as described. I paid $1200 for my 27-2 in great condition and felt like I got a good deal. Added a presentation case for another $300 and presentation grips for $400. Worth every penny if you ask me

Sorry I did not take any more photos today; I had to visit the chiropractor as my back has seriously flared up. The presentation box and the associated grip was given to me by my Navy buddy a few years after the 27 purchase. Back willing I will take more photos and post here.

I bought a 629-4 mountain gun about a year ago I think for 850 if I remember right. No box no papers. It had been shot a lot and cleaned a little but shined up pretty good. Also had aftermarket sights on it. I feel like I got it a little below market value.

Any MG in decent condition is an $850 gun. Many consider the dash 4 as tops for production quality although later ones shoot just as well… no IL, no MIM parts, hammer nose still in place. I think you did quite well on your 629-4.
