Fake homeless guy

Vegas crawls with them, too. One of the most infamous was a native American looking lady with the nicest midsized RV money could buy. She was at it for years, and might still be for all I know.

at least he is doing something......not like most around here.....

In my prayers tonight, I must not forget to thank Almighty God that I don't live there. People are getting kind of desperate anymore. Folks like that guy are just as sad as the homeless are. God bless and keep them all.
peace,
gordon

Western MA is loaded with them. I called one guy out.. He had a sign that said he was homeless and had a spinal injury and walked hunched over with a limp. I was watching him at my lunch break, next thing I know I see another guy relieve him of his space. He limps over to another part of the parking lot, then starts to run to his car which was pretty nice and not very old. I see him there the next day in the same spot. I finish my lunch and go to the light where hes standing and he asked me for money. I tell him what I saw the day prior, and he just started laughing. That's when I got pissed off and told him exactly what I thought about him and his little scam. I wanted to choke him.

I seen another guy. He was holding a sign that says Vietnam vet homeless in need of money and food. This guy was roughly around the age of 25. I asked him "aren't you a little young to be a Vietnam vet?". He just stared, and didn't say a word. I told him he was a disgrace and hope a vet comes by and slaps the hell out of him. I was kind of making a scene and my wife told me to get going.

Those people make me angry...

There are plenty of those right here in my town as well.

I ran across an elderly lady in a Kmart parking lot who "claimed" she was deaf and asking for handouts. She was holding a note which stated that she was deaf, her car had broken down and she needed money to get back home.
Something just didn't feel right so I didn't give her any money but, I did stick around out of sight long enough to see her get into a very new Yukon and drive away.

I think that this is: "THE YEAR OF THE SCAM", as I've NEVER seen so many well thought out scam plots in my life. Over the phone, on-line, on the street, in the mail, on TV, EVERYWHERE - BEWARE!!

It's not a new thing. A lot of the sign-holders have been scammers for a long time. A friend of mine used to work for DEP in Tallahassee about 20 years ago. He watched a guy on the same corner for several days. He discreetly followed him one day for about three blocks where he had his brand new F350 pickup parked.

Main reason I don't give the panhandlers on the corners around here anything. IMO most of them are fakes and if not you have my sympathy but you won't be getting my money either way.

Theft By Deception

This perpetrator needs to be immediately charged with Theft By Deception (which is a criminal charge in most states). He can be hit with a class B Felony (5 to 20 years) if he received $2500 or more in the scam and even a D Felony (1 to 5 years) if he got $500 or less if he ran the fraud over three days, which it appears he did from the video.

Bet after a nickel stretch he would not think he was so cute. The videographers should have gone to the prosecutors office, not his home.

I have heard of a number of cases where "homeless" people are making tens of thousands of dollars a year - and of course it is not reported at taxable income. So if there is no other crime going on - then perhaps tax evasion might be valid charge.

Thanks to a recent court case these bums are now a protected species. The ruling was based on their 1st amendment rights to "free speech", so we'll see many more hanging out at busy intersections putting on their best pathetic crippled up homeless attire, and asking for help. They work in shifts around here, and we see the same ones at the same place, at certain times of the day. The most profitable ones I've seen are the ones that bring their crackhead girlfriends with them. They rake in the cash while all the drivers wait at red lights looking at the poor young couple in "distress".

This reminds me of the story of two panhandlers, one not doing so well and the other doing very well. The out of luck one asks the well doer what was the difference, he tells him "it's your sign, it says homeless, need help, mine says, I just need $20 more dollars to get back to Mexico!

I hate it too but stop and think a second, put them in jail and then all of us tax payers pay in the nose! Whats it cost to keep a person in jail? Of course since the jail already exists, guards already there etc, we still have to pay for medical, orange jump suits, food etc. This way only the gullible pays. I think sheriff joe has the right idea of using them to clean up the roads in 115 degree heat. These scam artists have absolutely no pride, morals or ambition.

Yea.. they are all over Sweden to. Sitting at mall's begging.
Then beeing picked up in new cars when their "shift" is over

How ever if one points them out to others... you are a racist
