Diversity is good... nice collection of well taken care of firearms.

Is the Remmy 870 a slug gun? If so, do you hunt wild hogs with it?

1st, TY, I am diverse (strictly by accident), and I do take care of them. You can not tell by the pics, but my "mostly" carried have some good honest wear on them. No shame in that. That being said, the 870..........:D

That Sir, is a 1979 Remington 870 wingmaster, (I had to call Remmy last year to find out what year I bought it). I bought it brand new from I think K-mart for like $189.00. It came with a 28" modified choke barrel (non interchangeable chokes). It has many seasons in the woods deer hunting when I lived in Alabama many moons ago. As much time as it has been in the woods, it is still pristine.

Good eye, that IS a 20" slug barrel with rifle sights on it. It is strictly a HD gun now. I do take both barrels when I go to shoot clays. It has not been hog hunting, (good thought though) I may now consider that!!!:D I haven't hunted in many years! If so, I think I would still take 1 of my handguns also. The hogs are tough down here.

Thanks Shorty. I think I'll give yours a WOW also. I especially like the 64-6! Did you bob that hammer?

It's waaaaaay down there..........:D Seems like they should make an exchange? Really it started off many moons ago as "North Port Charlotte" Then it went awol and just goes by North Port, (it is its own city now) and Port Charlotte is the next town south.

That's interesting, he said (veering off the subject). North Port, Florida. Where in the heck is North Port.

It's about 400 miles SOUTH of Southport. :p

Thanks Ginzo.

No, it's a factory bobbed hammer. I'm getting some Ahrends Moradillo boot grips for hopefully Monday. :)
