I never heard of this show. This scene from the year I was born, 1957. These guys must have been Wolf & Klar customers, though the grips look like carved ivory instead of pearl. Identical rigs of high quality used here. Since both guy's guns have identical grips left and right, I wonder if they are wearing two guns.

Yep. These guys packed two guns.

FWIW More than perhaps any other agency, the culture of the Rangers encouraged fancy, personalized weapons. I was not previously aware that some two dozen Texas Rangers died at the Alamo in 1836.

An interesting point (at least to me) about this show is that the two leads, Willard Parker and Harry Lauter, played Rangers in both the modern (1950s, of course) and Old West eras. No kid back then ever criticized this as being unrealistic; we just enjoyed the shows.
