Going with jacketed, which I rarely use, I go the the GDSP or GSHP. Can't find the loads now. However, there is a plethora of choices out there that range from OK to just super.

RCBS #45-270 SWC, 18.5 gr. H4227, WLP primer, 890-900 FPS. When cast from WW the bullets weights 280 grs. I seat the bullet just so it clears the end of the cylinder. For plinking I use a RNFP 200 gr bullet and 5 grains of trailboss, WLP primer

The same powder charge under a lead 200-grain bullet makes a nice light plinker. Hope this helps, and Semper Fi. Ron H.

For plinking/target either a Speer 250gr swaged LSWC or a 255 Cast SWC and 10.0gr Win Super Field. It will cut cloverleafs all day with this load. Like Beans, a 200gr RNFP and 5.0gr Trail Boss is a fun load too, especially for close and fast!
