For anyone interested, I ran 10 rounds across the chronograph today. After searching "federal premium law enforcement ammunition", it looks like it is meeting published velocity. I haven't checked accuracy, but this particular gun seems to do well with anything tried so far.

Ruger P95, 3.9" barrel

Average velocity: 1294 fps @ 10 feet
Extreme spread: 40.15
Standard deviation: 12.80

I got 1356 f/s out of that load 20 years ago. Since the 110 gr. d357 load was claiming 1290 f/s at the time, the M66 held 6, the Glock 17 held 18, was flatter and lighter; my preference was obvious.

It did not do that well for me. Of the three 115 grain +P+ brands I tested that day, the Federal 9BPLE was the lowest performer at an average of 1212 fps from a 4.05" barrel. The Winchester averaged 1263, and the Remington was the hands down champ at 1324 from the same gun, same chrono, same shooting session.

For old technology, the 9BPLE is some pretty good stuff. Been using it for years in my off-duty 9mm's.
