Federal Agent Direct Purchase Program

Got a Glock 19 that way about 20 years ago. Lowest price around and no UPS overnight either.

I've bought a Glock 22 and Glock 27 under Glock's similar program. I know Sig has one also, but didn't know about S&W's.

I wonder why they choose to limit it to Federal LEO's?

It seems that this program is only available to federal agents, I guess Smith and Wesson doesn't give a crap about us locals.

This program, I think, came about after ICE authorized their agents to purchase snubbies for backup/offduty use, not sure though. I'm sure they have a program for officers not on the Federal level.

I'm obviously asking since I fall under these qualifications.

I'm not looking to purchase Federal Agents right now, directly or indirectly.

I have never heard if this program applies to LEO's other than Federal. I would think S&W would make it so. I know that Sig-Sauer does have such a program, because I recently purchased a new Sig P-250 with three magazines and night sights at a great price. If none of you have tried one, give it a shot. I really like the DAO with a 5.5-6 lb. trigger. Just waiting for the .45 ACP to come out.

These programs that help out federal agents are a lot like...
Let me describe it this way...

Do you know how local restaurants (particularly late night restaurants- Waffle House, Huddle House, Dunkin, late night gas stations, Denny's, etc) usually give away some coffee and perhaps some "left over" food to the deputies that cover their place and hang out there to keep the peace there, and it encourages the officers to "keep and eye" on things...and it helps make customers (like me) feel better when I see a cop car there (so long as it isn't a Dodge product

) that I eat there and "feel" safer?

Well, I guess in ways, it's kinda like that.

Sir,

Just how in the hell do you frequent Waffle House and Huddle House and not appreciate the finer products being produced by Chrysler?

That's blasphemy! Besides, a new 4 door charger in black and white looks so good it ain't even funny!

Doughnuts just don't taste right in anything else!

Sorry!)

Nothin' wrong wid' it...

Andy is right, though. A donut only tastes right in a Crown Vic. Tolerable in a Chevy, not so good in a MoPar. The new Chargers don't leave much room for two officers, two large coffees, and a sack of Dunkin' Donuts.

I think you must be right..* I have been told that by Feds more than once...

If you have ever know an AF OSI agent you will know just how special they think they are...
