It's been on the market for almost (if not over) a Year now. WalMart Federal Champion is one round that ALL my pistols like... Even the Picky Easters. :)

Some people run the cheap Tula range ammo (Tula is supposedly made to SAAMI standards now, but I still consider it 'Non-Standard') they can find, just to save a buck. At $19.97/100 round box, they'd be saving less than $0.50/100.

I was just there, unfortunately our local Wally World seems to be pretty bare in the ammo section the last couple of months, might be one 50 round box left.

:(

Yep,my 2 wally worlds near have been out of stock for the last month and they have no idea when more is coming in. Best price around when they have it.

When it finally comes in i'm coming to get a shopping cart and stock up !

I liked buying the Federal 100 round bulk packs. The thing is they disappeared when they raised the price for a 50 rd. box to $11.97 from $10.97. Now it is hard to see any kind of 9mm on their shelves lately.

My local walmart never has it in either now a days. I don't even see the spot for the 100 round packs of federal anymore. But thats not saying anything as the shelves are pretty bare most of the time.

There are stacks and stacks of 40's.

First time I have seen 100 round boxes of Federal at Walmart for months. The manager told me they always have a hard time keeping cheap ammo in stock in Presidental election years.

My local Wal-Mart either has a ton of 9mm and no .40 or a ton of .40 and no 9mm. Either way, always try to buy a box or two if 9mm is on the shelf.

I have yet to see the Federal 100 pack of 9mm at my WM. I do purchase the 50 rounds boxes when I am in there for 9mm and 45.

I was in there one day buying 12 ga ammo and noticed the guy wheel up with a cart loaded with Federal brown boxes. First one he opened was loaded with .40 100rd boxes. Asked him if any where 9mm and he said he didn't know. Stalled and hung around until he opened them all up... all .40.

I catch the 9mm 100rd boxes enough to keep at least 1000 rds on hand. I hate being "that guy" that buys up all they have and I don't as long as I'm stocked up but if I'm low I get a little greedy.

Same. I either get a shot at 1 or 2 boxes of 50rd Federal for $11.97...or it's nothing...

I saw the .40 100rd Federal at $27.99 the other day in there, a couple days later they still had a box or two. Never any deals for the 9mm, though. Ugh...

I just came home from my local Waly World and they had NO 9mm ammo of any kind. I didn't see a spot on the shelf for 100 count, only 50 count. I asked the sales guy when they might get some more. He had no idea...wouldn't even let me know when their next ammo order was coming in. I guess I'll just have to wander over there every day or so until I score.

Was at one of my local Wally's the other day shopping for the usual stuff and went looking for some .32 ACP for a new semi-auto I just got.

This one keeps what little ammo they have in a locked glass-doored case behind the counter (which puts it just far enough away from where you can stand that you can't really read what's on the labels.)

Had to wander away from the counter three times to ask if ANYBODY was supposed to be actually WORKING in sporting goods AT ALL!

At least three other guys just gave up waiting and left. After almost twenty minutes, this guy comes by pushing a cart full of product and asks if I needed any help!!

I ask if there's any .32 ACP in the case, he says yes, I ask for a box, he unlocks the case and hands it to me.

I have to pay for it right there-separately from all the other stuff I have in the cart.

He starts to ring it up, then asks for my driver's license. I asked why, he said they have to verify I'm over 21?

I'm flattered! I just turned 63, and have a receding hairline with graying temples and a white/gray goatee and mustache!!

He says they card everyone now because they recently got fined for not carding a young woman a few weeks ago (she was over 21, but they didn't ASK for proof which is apparently the most important part - the ASKING!)

Anyway, they also had the picture below taped up in front of the register. As if the twenty-minute wait for a cashier wasn't discouraging enough :(

I usually don't buy from wal-mart or gun shops, but can't you put in a order for then to get it for you and hold it till you come pick it up?

Hmmm I pay 25.00 for 100 Federal FMJ rounds. They have never been out when I need them. Been in there so often the same salesman asks me " 9MM again today?" lol

I just picked up two 100 round boxes of 9MM Federal Champion 115 FMJ for $19.97 each at a local Walmart. Seemed like a good thing to do on Independence Day.
