Federal HST 124 gr bullets?

Does anyone know where I can buy Federal HST 124 or 147 gr
bullets? I would like to load them for defense ammo.

I am not aware of Federal selling any of the HST line of bullets for reloading.

American Reloading sometimes gets pulled batches of them in for decent prices.

A few might have some marks and occasionally they will need sorting for weight, but they're great for testing your combat load in your gun.

I've shot thousands with no problem.

OK Guys, Thanks for the reply. I guess it was to much to hope
for to be able to buy them for reloading as they charge a fortune
for there factory stuff. I'll look into those other ones you told me
about. Maybe Speer Gold Dots.

Yep! But they seem to work fine in my 4" Model 19 as well...

P.S. Even loaded up some in 357 Magnum @ about 1K: never tested them in any media, though.

It seems that the 9mm HST JHP bullets need around a 138 Power Factor to work
when you look at all the testing that has been done on this bullet.

The 38 special 130 HST is a totally different breed of ammo, since it only needs
a PF of just 106, to work, out of a snub nose , revolver.

One might be careful shooting this designed "Micro" load out of a 6" barrel,
until you see what the bullet looks like, with all the extra velocity,
that may hamper penetration.
