We all know Ann Wilson of Heart has a killer voice...and then you have Fleetwood Mac...now who are some of your favorite female fronted groups, i'd prefer to hear of some that are not mainstream or well known, but don't not mention them either...

I'll start off with Stars In Stereo. the female is Bec Holcraft. amazing voice from someone who is under 5' tall. I saw her them live last year and they are better live. The covered Aerosmith's "Dream On" and it was the only time that vocals gave me goosbumps. And she is pretty nice to look at to! I hope to catch them again this year...

i like Pink actually...she don't fit the mold of the music that she makes. I hate "pop" music, but Pink has a killer voice and makes that style enjoyable...

Chrissie Hinde is a classic also...

A little more towards being popular and this girl has covered heart and nailed it...

Lzzy Hale from Halestorm...

EDIT - I guess I missed the "rock band" part. LOL. This is still good stuff.....

I listen to about everything except jazz and opera. I still like the old classic rock and some of the newer stuff that my kids play. BUT, if you are talking about female vocalists, other mellower stuff works.

If you haven't heard Haley Westenra, you gotta listen to these. IMO, she has one of the nicest voices I've ever heard.

If you haven't heard Celtic Woman, you need to check it out as well. It's a group of women that do several live performances.
