Female handgun holsters that are "pretty".

I am looking over multiple sites trying to find places for women to look over "attractive" holsters they might find more eye pleasing. I know we can do colored kydex or high end leather with animal swatches. Any thoughts that are similar to this site?

I would try and impress upon the female that needs a holster to consider function over looks when it comes to involving something as serious as gun retention...those holsters look like nothing more than fancy covers. That said, most of your better holster makes can give you a great molded rig with great retention in exotic materials, but it will cost you quite a bit.

What's more attractive than black?

Well, I think "women" are a big market anyway... no matter what product. Glad my wife is not that fancy ;)

Not her Glock, but it still makes a nice combo and she wouldn't mind carrying it.

Appreciate replies. They understand the function part is critical but want something more personal than black. The websites provided fit the needs.

Thanks.

My wife has always carried her Charter .44 in her purse, not a holster on her body.

I bought three women's holsters from George Cake Company, police supply, originally designed I believe for police women. When I was a young man starting as County Undersheriff in a Colorado Rural County, we did not have a female officer on the Sheriff Dept or Police Depts. From time to time it was desireable to have a female on call to come to the jail and my wife was the one that I selected for the job.

The George Cake purses that I bought for her were relatively small, easy to carry, with a shoulder strap for use if needed. I remember that they were different colors. Over almost 60 years my wife has owned other purses, of various colors and materials also but all were designed similar to the original George Cake leather purses. They all have a flap over the opening on top, for access to the usual contents of the purse, with zipper or Velco opening on the end that opens to house her revolver.

My daughter, now a Grandmother, has also carried her CW in purses simmilar to the one her mother uses.

Police Supply companies, such as George Cake Co, may still make such holster/purses. My wife has also had a few made by local leather shops to her specs.

I suspect that perhaps most women who carry on their person, also carry some type of purse. A holster/purse might be convenient for many woman.
