Fiber optic sights for 686

I'm looking at putting a set of fiber optic sights on my 686. If I need a gun in the middle of the night my bedside is a Glock 19 with tritium sights so I don't need glow in the dark on the 686, it's more a daytime gun for carrying in the woods and shooting for enjoyment. I like the HiViz sights but the rear sights are not available and I'm concerned that the front sight is going to snag on the holster as it looks like it's kind of high.


What's everyone else using for fiber optics on their revolvers? For those of you using the Hi Viz pinned front sight, is it an issue with the shape/height of the sight or does it function without a problem going in and out of the holster?

You can look to mount a LPA sight on it. They have several model for your 686.

I have these that came on my Ruger GP100, which is the same size as the 686 and man are they bright!
