Best year ever for my tree big figs and plenty of them. My wife made preserves last week but we are away from home for a week and don't have the recipe.
When you get them made and want some for dessert try them with a shot of Cointreau liqueur on them. fantastic. Over a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you like.

Ain't no prunes as good as these!! This year seems to be a late year for my fig bush but I don't remember seeing figs this size on this bush!

For some extra mmm, try a small batch with some strawberries cut into the fig mixture.

My ex-sister-in-law got a fig preserves recipe two years ago off the internet. It was very flavorful. Last year she used the same recipe and entered it in the State Fair of Texas. She won the Grand Champion Ribbon. Go figure...
