I'm not sure what all the fuss is over having a public debate on this issue. If you strongly believe in something you should not be afraid to stand your ground and debate the merits. If you refuse to even debate, people will ask themselves if you really believe in what you say.

the real problem is the country is financially going down the tube and this is a smoke screen.I think the problem here is that the important business of the country is being derailed while parties who have no real interest in solving the problems of school safety and so-called "gun violence" are using a terrible tragedy for the sole purpose of advancing a tired agenda of worn-out "common sense" ideas that they intend to slowly and steadily lead to confiscation. We know exactly what they are up to, the country can't afford the wasted time, and we shouldn't have to put up with the lying nonsense and phoney theatre.
