I've been looking for a long while for a 29-2 in good shape. Finally came across this one on the other side of the state. Wife and I flew out for a weekend trip and stopped in to pick this beauty up. Zero wear except for a faint turn ring. He had the original box but no tools or papers. Serial is in the 800000 range. It should keep my nickel 4" 19-3 company nicely.

Anyone know of someone who makes reproduction liners for the presentation cases? Mine has a hole right behind the hammer spur.

Beautiful! Do a search for flocking and you will find a gentleman on here who restores them. I don't know of any reproduction liner that looks factory.

His user name on here is jcelect. He does great work from what I hear and pictures I have seen. He can even replace hinges and latches along with restoring the outside. Save any pieces of the flocking you might have!

That is a beautiful revolver and the nickel S&W revolvers are my favorites because they are so pretty. Joe does great work on the presentation cases and he did several of mine for the model 29-2's and Model 27-2's.

Joe's email address Joe Cebull ([email protected])
