There was a old Stevens 520 in 20ga that had about 25% finish left. It spoke to me but not $300 worth.
The closest I came to a purchase was one of the newer Colt Government Models in .38 Super. I have been thinking about one for a while, and at $799 I was tempted.
Another that made me think was a Springfield Range Officer in 9mm. It would be a range toy but, oh my, are 9mm 1911's fun. It was $749.
All in all it was a good day, even if nothing came home with me.
