I checked through the archives and couldn't find anything, so I thought I'd ask here. On the "Medium-Large" and "Large" 2.0 grip inserts, I notice that the 'lip' at the top of the insert often doesn't fit flush against the top of the backstrap.

Will that eventually begin to 'form-fit' against the backstrap with range use, or is it just something to ignore? As it is it collects a bit of debris that tends to accumulate there in the gap. No big deal to remove during routine maintenance, but it's kind of a nuisance.

sometimes I will heat those up with heat gun or a hair dryer till a little soft and then squeeze them closed a little bit then they fit nice and snug. eventually they might go back to original shape but pretty easy to do it again.

This is a thing with a lot of these beavertail type inserts. happens on my apx too.

I had the same issue. I just installed it, squeezed the heck out of it, removed it, and repeated about a dozen times and it finally worked itself in pretty flush.
