Flower carved and rawhide laced single loop holster

A friend of mine came across this cool old holster a few weeks ago and bought it thinking it would fit one of his SAAs. When the fit wasn't right he asked if I wanted it. And so off to my home for wayward holsters it goes. I had a new right knee put in 12/16, so my son went down to the safe today and we have a winner with a fit to a 4" M&P. No numbers anywhere, no makers marks. Flower carving is nicely done as is the rawhide lacing. Leather is nice and supple, so Merry Christmas to me and to all of you!

That is a cool old holster. I'll bet a Blackrock treatment will really bring it back to life.

I'll try to get the holster and my leather cleaner/conditioner on the same floor of the house today. I'll post a couple more pics after that's done. I agree it will perk the old holster up considerably. Glad you all like it!

After a light rub down with Bick 4 and a little buff with a horsehair shoe brush.
The old holster took on a nice shine!
