FN Five-Seven 5.7 USG - Interesting Gift

This could be a rabbit hole. My first 5.7. Totally unexpected. Been helping a good friend and gun enthusiast with a legal problem. Free of course. Never expected payment of any type. Well, today he dropped this in front of me. A “new in box” FN 5.7 from 2007 and 500 rounds of ammo. A gift really because he never owed be anything for the other work. Just a nice thing to do. He had two of them and piles and piles of extra ammo.

Very nice gift! 500 rounds of 5.7 x 28 is a great addition, that would be $454.90 worth of ammo if ordered today from Sgammo. The SS197SR is a good round.

I have had a FN Five Seven and a PS90 for a few years, they are a lot of fun.

The real rabbit hole will be when you decide to pick up a PS90 so that you have something else to shoot 5.7 x 28. I bought the PS90 first and then picked up the Five Seven. One nice thing about them is that you can keep a lot of ammo in a small space. The round is very flat shooting.

There may be more at some point. Need to learn more about the pistol and 5.7 generally. I am a .38 and 9 mm guy. Totally out of my element here. Looking forward to it.
