Just some more questions :
1. Do you have one / photos ?
2. Do you like it and does it help ?
3. Folding vs non-folding ?
4. Would you recommend one or not for range/hunting ect ?
( I think I know some of this answers here but I would like to hear any comments before a purchase )

Thanks

Bipods provide a stable platform for the fore end of any rifle, whether you are shooting from the bench on laying on the ground.

The only non-folding bipods I am aware of are those built into a fore grip. All other are folders. I have a Harris 9-13" that fits on every rifle I have except the M1. I seldom shoot from the bench without it.

In addition to folding, you want a bipod with a pivot so that you can level the rifle on an uneven surface. It's good to have a pivot which can be locked, but not absolutely necessary.

A bipod will extend your effective range at least 50% compared to a sling. In the field, it makes the support point on the stock consistent, which can affect accuracy.

They mount to any standard swivel base or rail. The typical length is 9"-13".

i have a cheap utg 9-12" bipod that i use for long distance shooting at the range with my scope. this is only about 1-2% of my shooting though and it satisfies my requirements.

Utg is the way to go for a cheap, well made bipod. Love mine and use it on my .22 target rifle and my 15-22!

Shooters Ridge Rock Mount 9"-13" Folding, Swivel Bipod (Harris Type)
American Defense AD-BP Billet Quick Detach Mount

Not the cheap setup, but it's a BiPod that would outlast me, and since it comes off and can go on any railed rifle makes the price much more palatable.

I had a UTG (Not Harris) See photo, it fell apart.

I also have the UTG 9"-12". For the price it is hard to beat, a plus for me it swivels or pans left and right. Got it on Amazon for $30.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1349125846.010264.jpg
