For Music Guys: Shure Microphones

Had a good experience with Shure mics.... I use SM-57's to mic my drums. Haven't played in a while. Years ago I was dumb enough to leave my mics out between jobs at the same place. Someone during the week swapped out my nice newer mics for used and broken ones. Not sure how they did it. I suspect the crackhead bass player. Well, I just got around to sending them to Shure for repair. No questions, they kept the broken ones and sent me back new ones for $55.00 each. It would have cost me more to buy the parts and fix them myself.....

I still have my 520DX Green Bullet mic but haven't used it in years. The best blues harmonica sound around, in my opinion.

A solid company with excellent CS. I sold their products for 28 years and never had any major issues.

You could use 58's as forging hammers and they would still work.
