Hopkins & Allen Arms 5" barrel top break six rnd 32 long DA hammerless naturally in nickel. Half a penny for a front sight and sportin Forehand & Wadsworth plastique stocks.
If not mistaken it was around 1906 when H&A took over Forehand Arms. I think this model pistola was manufactured until 1910. The Police Positive was a solid frame revolver.
A full round of low powered wadcutters will barely heat up the cylinder. SN 2415 all matching ejector operates smoothly and after a little clean up functions properly if fired at a slow/methodical pace. No speed shooting allowed.
I pulled the trigger assembly and had one heck of a time reinstalling. I'd not advise repeating if it can be avoided. Someday it'll be a wallhanger I suppose.
