Forum karma and 1911 stocks

A forum member reached out via PM about an issue he was having with one of his guns. Next thing you know we are on the phone discovering how much we have in common. Long story short, I helped him with a minor problem he had and he graciously sent me two sets of beautifully crafted Birds Eye maple stocks that he made. Wow!! Here is one set on my Remington R1 (they feel as good as they look), the other set is going on my son’s 1911.
