I went by a used book store here in Arlington, and found a 1st edition of the S&W standard catalog (was looking for a 3rd but for $8 who cares right?)

on the title page..it's signed by "Jim Supica" ....
I have seen where Mr. Supica doesn't much post here, but was wondering if anyone else has seen an authentic autograph of Mr. Supica?

oh well I'll head to Amazon to order the 3rd, but I mean...it was only $8 so I had to get it!

I have all three also but they are not signed. Great books for the S&W fan! That 3rd Edition has seen a lot of use.

kbak67, If you're in Arlington, you are just around the corner from Fairfax. That's where Jim hides out. He's at the National Firearms Museum. He claims he's the Director, but don't let him fool you - he's really just the Chief Gun Fondler! Ed.
(PS: Those books are $8 if signed, and $10 unsigned!)

Both Jim and Roy Jinks kindly signed my 1st edition "Standard Catalog" at the 1996 NRA Convention in Dallas. Perhaps the book you found was signed there.
